Christmas Ball in the Saint Macaire village hall!
To get you in the mood, get you off to a good start and get you involved in the ball, there will be two dance workshops leading up to this wonderful evening!
4pm – 6pm: Couples dance workshop – learning the mazurka, for beginners wishing to learn the mazurka (from Samatan)
6.30pm – 8pm: Introduction to dances – for absolute beginners, and those who don’t yet know they can dance.
8.30pm – 1am: FOLK BAL
Camille Raibaud on violin explores the dance music of south-west France, the Landes de Gascogne region of which he is an acknowledged specialist, as well as Irish music.
The BPLP drum and accordion duo will be bringing the Landes folk ball to the pine forest, with an eclectic mix of traditional Landes music and groovy folk ball.
