Both self-taught, it was only after a busy working life that we were finally able to express our passion for art. Bernard devoted himself to making his nursery in Camblanes a success; then, when it was time for a well-deserved rest, some Italian artists encouraged him to try his hand at modelling clay, believing he had a great artistic soul within him.
Which he has been doing ever since.
Chantal, an accountant, had set aside her passion for writing for many years; it was when she met Bernard that this passion resurfaced. After publishing a collection of poetry and a novel, it was whilst out walking that her gaze turned to her surroundings, drawing inspiration from the forms that nature offers us, which are often overlooked. Thus was born her passion for photography.
