A pleasant stroll along the banks of the Ciron takes you to the heart of the forest, where former resin workers passionately describe their trade, which has now disappeared.
From February to October, the gem-maker never leaves the woods.

From February to October, the woodworker never leaves the woods. From the preparation of the tree at the very beginning of the season, to the barrascot (the end of the work), the resin worker travels through the pine forest. Wives and children often help out on a daily basis.

The Friends of the Bernos-Beaulac Heritage Centre invite you to take part in a tour to discover the history of this activity in the Bazadais region and the skills of the tree growers, which are still intact.
