Soirée Marcella Delpastre avec Nathanaël sous le figuier to Bazas

“Nathanaël sous le figuier” (Nathanaël under the fig tree) musical reading by Thérèse Canet (storyteller) and Marie-Laure Fraysse (accordionist) based on the eponymous poetic text by Marcelle Delpastre.
The music was written based on the poem, becoming its voice and revealing the text as a musical score.

The music echoes various influences: jazz, classical, contemporary, traditional…
But it is the beating of the heart, that of the bourrée, which carries the voices between earth and sky as if in a primal song, Indian or Limousin.

This poetic recital will be followed by a convivial snack and then a screening, at 8.30 pm at Le Vog, of Patric La Vau’s documentary “Marcela Delpastre, res de mai si ne’s poeta” in the presence of the director.

An evening co-organised by Les Nuits Atypiques, as part of the Marcelle Delpastre Centenary.

Suitable for all ages, from 7 years old.
