The next rose to Virelade
Le 18/10/2026The town of Virelade is getting involved in Pink October.
On the programme:
– skewers of pink sweets and drinks;
– an information and awareness exhibition on breast cancer, organised by La Ligue contre le Cancer;
– a creative workshop at 2 pm to make your own paper flower
– a scooter race for 3 to 6-year-olds and a parent-child race for children aged 7 and over at 3 pm, organised by the CMJ
– a ‘Wishing Tree’ where you can write a message of hope, a thought,… on a pink ribbon to hang on our tree.
– a pink cake competition: come and show us your creative… and your sweet tooth! Take part by bringing your finest pink creation (or one with a touch of pink) to the village hall at 2 pm. The judging panel will meet at 4 pm to choose the winner.
