Listed as a Historic Monument, the Château de Castets-en-Dorthe stands proudly above the junction of the Garonne and the Canal des Deux Mers, offering an outstanding view.
The current buildings date back to the 16th century, but rest on the foundations of a fortified site built in the 14th century by Guilhem de Goth, nephew of Pope Clement V. Henri IV stayed here in 1585.
