Located 45 minutes from Bordeaux, Château de Malle is a privately owned historic monument, built in the 18th century and surrounded by 6.5 hectares of remarkable gardens inspired by Louis XIV’s famous creations at Versailles.
The Age of Enlightenment helped to integrate the estate into the rich historical heritage of the Bordeaux region and France.
The vineyard, classified as a Grand Cru in 1855, covers 50 hectares in a single block, straddling two prestigious appellations: Graves and Sauternes. This powerful vineyard, certified organic, produces wines of exceptional quality, offering a complete range of wines, including red, white and Sauternes.
In 2024, Luc and Clémence Planty breathed new life into the promotion of this historical and wine-growing heritage by opening the estate to visitors for the first time, much to the delight of families and enthusiasts.

Open all year round, Tuesday to Saturday, and every Sunday from mid-April to the end of October. Last guided tour at 4pm. Gardens and shop open from 10am to 6pm, last admission at 4pm.

“Heritage Tour”: 1.5 hours and 1 glass of wine for €15/adult, €5/child aged 12 to 17, free for children under 11.
“Cru Classé Tour”: 1.5 hours with 2 glasses of wine for €15/adult, free for children under 18. “Privileged Encounter” with the vineyard owners, tasting of 3 glasses of rare vintage wines, 2.5 hours: €95/adult, €180 for 2 adults.
Access to the gardens: €5 per adult and per child aged 2 to 18.
Food and wine commentary after the heritage tour: €150 per person.
Gastronomic pairing: €300 per person.
