Jardin du Sultan to Bazas
The former gardens of the Hôtel de Mauvezin (18th and 19th centuries) are set against the southern ramparts and bounded to the west by one of the city’s last defensive towers. The garden was transformed into a rose garden in 1990, where it is pleasant to stroll and admire the contrast between the stone of the ramparts and the pastel pink or fuchsia of the flowers in summer.
