INACCESSIBLE DUE TO FLOODING – The Epernon pontoon is a large pontoon designed for mooring river cruise ships calling at Cadillac-sur-Garonne. The facility consists of a 35-metre-long floating pontoon supported by two piles, a mobile gangway, two outer piles equipped with floating bollards and a secure gate.
The landing stage is designed to accommodate a maximum of two passenger ships alongside on the outer side. Each ship must be no more than 135 metres long and have a displacement of 1,950 tonnes. On the inner side, it is possible to accommodate pleasure boats measuring up to 12 metres in length.
