Alpha Cultures… an exhibition celebrating young people!

Brought to life thanks to the artistic ingenuity of young people from the three Ile Verte day centres (Toulenne), Podensac and Demi Lune (Villenave-d’Ornon), this exhibition presents itself as a moment suspended in time, where art becomes a space to express oneself, experiment, create, tell one’s story… and, above all, to present oneself to the world in a different light.

It comprises spontaneous, unique and deeply human works, supported by the teams at the day hospitals and by the artist Stéphane Getas, alias ‘Spig’.

As well as art, it also speaks of encounters, trust, seeing others through a different lens and social connection. Exhibiting also means daring to show what one has created, taking one’s place and sharing with those who come to view the work.

Painting, canvas, felt-tip pens, manga-style media, paper, clay…

Opening on 18 October from 6.00 pm.
