“Bordeaux by Night” cruise aboard the Marco Polo, departing from Langon to Langon

Marvel at the Garonne at sunset and explore the illuminated city of Bordeaux – a truly unique experience!
You’ll set sail from Langon aboard the Marco Polo, a magnificent German boat from the 1960s with a Tintin-esque charm. It features two spacious lounges and a superb teak upper deck, offering both charm and comfort.

The boat will cruise along the green banks of the Entre-Deux-Mers and past the wine châteaux overlooking the Garonne. Picturesque villages and fishing huts dot the route, offering an authentic and soothing panorama.

Upon arrival in Bordeaux, the city lights up, revealing its 18th-century UNESCO-listed façades, the sparkling Pont de Pierre and the majestic Place de la Bourse reflected in the Miroir d’Eau. An all-you-can-eat Basque buffet (cold meats, cheeses, soft drinks, wines and coffees) will be served.

Dates

Commentary on board and in town provided by a tour guide. Boarding from 2.30 pm for a 3 pm departure from the boat.
8 pm: Arrival in Bordeaux at the main pier
All-you-can-eat Basque buffet
Around 9.00 pm: departure for a walking tour of Bordeaux’s historic city centre
11.00 pm: return by coach from Bordeaux, arranged by the operator
Arrival in Langon at midnight The excursion will go ahead even in the event of rain (the boat is covered).
