Christian Duc Exhibition to Sauternes
From 30/10/2026 at 08/11/2026After studying for two years at the Bordeaux School of Fine Arts, taking part in various courses and attending a number of painting workshops, it was indeed at the studio of the pastel artist Anne d’Aressy that he discovered and developed an interest in the dry pastel technique, a method that combines both drawing and painting. Whilst soft to the touch, pastels have a velvety quality that contrasts with the intensity and power of the colour he favours. His painting remains, on the whole, figurative. Over time, his work has increasingly tended towards the essential, simply capturing emotion by eliminating secondary objects whilst prioritising colour and light. A different perspective on the elements and objects that surround us.
The exhibition opening will take place on: Saturday 31 October from 6 pm
