To mark European Heritage Days, the Les Chantiers Tramasset association is opening the doors of a historic former shipyard in Le Tourne for a day packed with cultural, natural and heritage discoveries. On the banks of the Garonne, explore the local river history, discover maritime trades such as shipbuilding, rigging and carpentry, and learn about the environmental challenges facing this area. 4.00 pm and 5.30 pm: Guided tours, by booking only.
Discover the history of the site and the Tramasset family, from the port’s heyday to the site’s revival thanks to the association. From 3.00 pm to 6.00 pm: workshops and activities focusing on shipbuilding and woodworking trades. 3.30 pm and 5.00 pm: Basket-weaving workshops, by booking only. 8.00 pm: Improvisational theatre cabaret.
