From 8.00 pm on 19 September 2026, the castle will open its doors, inviting everyone to explore the old castle at their leisure. As you wander around, the ancient stones will tell you of times gone by, and, emerging straight froma colourful Middle Ages, you might well cross paths with some historical figures. At 9.00 pm, to the sound of the oliphant, you’ll be invited to gather in the upper courtyard to watch the show and discover, with a touch of humour, certain aspects of life in a medieval castle.
