Guided walking tour starting from Rions to Rions

The walk starts at 2.30 pm (duration: approx. 2½ hours) and follows a route through the hillsides and along the banks of the Garonne, in the footsteps of theRionnais artist Henri Maignan (1815–1900), whose drawings preserve the memory of the navigation and landscapes of yesteryear. Accompanied by historian and tour guide David Souny, who will provide commentary along the route, you will be able to compare the old views with the landscapes of today. On your return to Rions, a complimentary drink will be offered and you can explore an exhibition of original drawings by Henri Maignan.
