Halloween au Château de Cazeneuve to Prechac
From 20/10/2025 at 24/10/2025Languages spoken
In just a few rooms, the autumn colours, and especially Halloween, will transform the home of Henri IV and Queen Margot into one of the most terrifying castles in the world. The medieval kitchen will become a witch’s den where magical elixirs and all sorts of cucurbits will be mixed together. In the usually peaceful exhibition of naturalised animals, deer and wild boar will rub shoulders with giant spiders and other creatures straight out of the cursed forest. And if you get a little too close to the prison door, you won’t be safe from hearing the last prisoner locked up here in 1536.
Children will be able to leave with a Halloween-coloured drawing that they have drawn.
Children are invited to come dressed up to scare away the castle’s ghosts, and perhaps the King and Queen will offer sweets …
