Heritage Days – Gregorian Chant to Castets et castillon

The Atelier Plain-Chant of the Centre de Musique Ancienne de Sauternes, directed by François-Xavier Lacroux, performs in concert in the church of Mazérac, in the south of Gironde. This fine example of the Romanesque heritage of our countryside becomes the natural setting for Gregorian chant and early polyphony, medieval and Renaissance, in surprising proximity to traditional Basque, Corsican and Neapolitan songs.

This concert is free entry at a recommended price! Everyone gives what they think is right and according to their means, so no one is prevented from immersing themselves in a time out of time through music. All proceeds will go towards helping the Centre de Musique Ancienne to launch a new year of exciting projects for the Sud-Gironde region.
