The Langon crime. On 6 February 1907, on the 1.30pm train, an insurance agent from La Réole arrived. He went to the Café Hôtel de la Gare, run by shady proprietors with a criminal record. The insurance agent was found floating in the Garonne 8 months later. A cruel crime set against a backdrop of theft.
