The Sud Gironde Patrimoines association is organising a walk in Cazalis. The aim is to showcase a landscape typical of southern Gironde, which deserves to be recognised as a site of natural heritage interest, with its sand dunes and lagoon, its history, and a work of art installed deep in the forest.
A 2-hour walk to the viewpoint at the highest dune in Gironde, then on to the lagoon landscape.
Hiking boots and walking poles recommended.
Bring a bottle of water and, depending on the weather, waterproof and warm clothing.
