As part of scènes d’été, street theatre show, by the Astropophe company: 1723, county of Hampshire, Kingdom of England.

A gang of poachers, the Blacks, dares to kill the prestigious deer in private forests. In response to these impertinents, the English Parliament enacts the Black Act, a piece of legislation that punishes any intrusion on these properties with death. As a palisade rises on the edge of the forest they used every day, La Foulque and Chariq’ witness the advent of private property. A tale of struggle, clumsy attempts and cobbled-together plans, they have not finished with the obstacles.

Street theatre and circus combine to turn the past into a burlesque, absurd and delirious adventure.
