Lectures at Mongenan Castle: The SAC – its history and work to Portets
Le 25/10/2026Languages spoken
Florence Mothe found herself undertaking an extensive study into the nature of the various forms of Gaullism; this is how she came to take an interest in the SAC, and its rather convenient role as a group of thugs who were constantly and regularly purged.
What if the SAC had served a completely different purpose? What if it had been more significant than we realise, both in France and abroad?
Thirteen lectures, held every Sunday at 5 pm at the Château de Mongenan in Portets, from 27 September to 20 December under the title ‘The SAC: its life and work’, will be no more than enough to attempt to unravel the mysteries of a fascinating period about which, as
will come as no surprise to anyone, we have been told many lies.
Given the particularly sensitive nature of the subject matter, the specific topic of each lecture will only be revealed on a week-by-week basis.
