A new lease of life for Podensac market: don’t miss it on Thursday 22 May!

After a few months’ absence and a gradual decline in its historic market, Podensac is set to rediscover the friendly weekly buzz beneath its market hall.

Thanks to the determination of several local councillors keen to recreate the vibrancy of yesteryear, extensive work has been carried out to revive this unmissable fixture of local life. From now on, Podensac’s weekly market will be held every Thursday, from 8am to 1pm, in the market hall. This change will attract a more diverse range of traders, better suited to the expectations of Podensac’s residents.

To mark the occasion, there will be live music for visitors, and tote bags will be given to the first 100 customers at the market.
