Captieux, a village located in southern Gironde, in the Landes de Gascogne Regional Nature Park, is accessible from the “Cœur d’Aquitaine” motorway exit. Every year since 1993, at the end of May and beginning of June, two passions that animate Aquitaine come together here: rugby and bullfighting. Sport, art, celebration, traditions and conviviality are celebrated during three days of feria.
You can watch the Défi Gascon, rugby tournaments and a gala rugby match, or spend a Sunday with your family at the bullring for a full day of bullfighting. Throughout the weekend, the stadium and bullring will be filled with food stalls, bodegas, bandas and entertainment for children. Captieux is the unmissable festive event for fans of rugby and bullfighting!
