Captieux, a village situated in southern Gironde, within the Landes de Gascogne Regional Nature Park, is accessible via the ‘Cœur d’Aquitaine’ motorway exit. It is here that, every year since 1993, two passions that drive Aquitaine come together: rugby and bullfighting. Sport, art, celebration, traditions and conviviality are celebrated here during a three-day feria.

Sunday: 11am: Novillada without spears (Fiesta Garona). Manuel León – a rising star from Badajoz and Jules Dujols ‘Julio Martin’ – a promising talent from the South-West, featuring erales from the La Espera ranch
5.30pm: Novillada with spears (Rugby y Toros)
International line-up: Emiliano Osornio – Mexican prodigy, Álvaro Serrano – Spanish star, Clovis – promising French talent (making his debut with spears in the South-West), novillos from the Gallon ranch.
