Like one of Proust’s madeleines, Luis Alberto Rodríguez retraces the thread of his life as he prepares a Mexican meal, in front of us, with spices and steaming smells.
In this gustatory solo, he invites us to travel between the Basque country, where he lives, and Mexico, where he grew up. He plunges us into the streets of his home town, Monterrey, and into the myths of his country. Wearing cowboy boots and a wide-brimmed hat, he cuts, slices, cooks and tells stories that are both legendary and universal.
