Walk and tour of the Fontbanne mill in Budos to Budos

Discover Budos and its secrets.

This event is part of the Agriculture and Food Festival.

Meet at 9.45 am in the car park of Budos Church for a 10 am start to the walk. The walk is led by the Les Amis de la Nature Pays de Gironde association.

11.00 am: stop at the Fontbanne mill where Jérôme will be waiting to show us his work and his modern stone mill: he produces and processes heritage grains into exceptional, tasty and easily digestible flours. If you’d like to buy some flour, please bring some change.

12.30 pm: lunch with your packed picnic to share a convivial moment

1.30/1.45pm: departure to return to the starting point at Budos church, a walk of around 45 minutes.

The route largely follows the recently created walking loop, which presents no particular difficulty.
