At the picnic area, take the path that runs alongside the lake, heading south. The lake will then be on your right.

Continue your walk, staying firmly on the paths that run alongside the lake, until you return to your starting point.

Created to meet agricultural irrigation needs, this artificial lake has, over time, become a magnificent haven for biodiversity. Wild flora and fauna have found a refuge here. Many rare and, in some cases, endangered species can be found along its shores. As you explore the area, please be mindful of the inhabitants of these life-sustaining forests. The lake’s shores are shared by three communes: Labescau, Aillas and Sigalens.
