From the track, turn left into the village. The village is famous for its Lubat de Gascogne musical company, who liven up the evenings at the Théâtre Amusicien l'Estaminet. Good to know: the café des sports has a lovely indoor terrace for a refreshing break. Don't miss the collegiate church with its magnificent stained glass windows and the Carrara marble tomb of Clement V.Behind it, the small garden with its wash-house by the stream is ideal for a picnic: tables are available.
Etape 2
Etape 4
The railway network in the area has disappeared, so you can enjoy the cycle path that has replaced the old track. The workshops where the trains were repaired still exist: you can see the building, but it is not yet open to visitors. You can, however, enjoy the grounds of the Chalet Mauriac: this was the famous writer's holiday home. In the park, one of the works in the Forêt d'Art Contemporain. We're particularly fond of the Cercle des Ouvriers: a community bar offering meals and evening events. It's well worth resigning yourself to this lively stopover!

Here’s a stage where heritage is king. Or rather pope; we’ll explain why. A cycle path takes you to the birthplace of Bertrand de Got, who became Pope Clement V. He was born in Villandraut and his tomb is in the collegiate church of Uzeste. He also left his mark on many of the historic châteaux in the area.
Each village on this route celebrates Gascon culture and local traditions. They offer a full range of services for cyclists.
This is the Landes de Gascogne Regional Nature Park. The hosts who welcome you are real enthusiasts: grouped together in the “Imaginaterres”, they place solidarity, the environment and the Gascon identity at the heart of their offer. If they also have the ‘Accueil Vélo’ label, you can be sure of an authentic and immersive stopover.
