Armajan des Ormes Castle to Preignac
Length of visit : 60 minutesLanguages spoken
It takes more than just being great to rub shoulders with the greats of history. That could well be Armajan’s motto.
Wine production at Château d’Armajan has been documented since the 16th century. It belonged to the Sauvage family, who played a key role in developing the Sauternes region alongside the finest estates, such as Yquem.
Today, the Perromat family, the seventh generation of winegrowers, works with passion to produce its Sauternes wines.
Let yourself be swept away by a tour steeped in history and authenticity, discovering not only the winemaker’s craft but also that of the wine merchant, with a collection of old tools.
Your visit will conclude with a guided tasting of the estate’s Sauternes, as well as wines from other family-owned estates.
