Château Climens to Barsac
Length of visit : 90 minutesLanguages spoken
A Sauternes Premier Cru Classé since 1855, Château Climens owes its nickname of “Lord of Barsac” to the incomparable style of its wines, famous for their elegance and freshness of expression. Climens owes this strong personality above all to its unique limestone terroir and its mastery of the king of Barsac grapes: Semillon. A particularly sensitive grape, the entire estate has been biodynamically farmed since 2010 to preserve nature and local biodiversity. The estate is now owned by the Moitry family, who, supported by a committed team, are committed to writing a new page in the history of Château Climens.
