The Château des Mailles estate has belonged to the Larrieu family since 1734. It is located on a clay-limestone hillside in the commune of Sainte-Croix-du-Mont, facing the Garonne River and resting on enormous beds of fossilised oysters. Enjoying a south-facing exposure, the vineyard covers an area of 23 hectares, 18 of which are devoted to white vines and 5 to red vines. Traditions are still respected by Laurence and her female team, with manual harvesting. Vinification in vats precedes ageing in oak barrels and bottling after three years.
