La Clotte-Cazalis Castle to Barsac
Length of visit : 60 minutesLanguages spoken
Family-owned since 1779, now converted to organic farming. Museum of centuries-old winemaking. Former wine merchant specialising in Sauternes wines.
Château La Clotte-Cazalis is run by Marie-Pierre Lacoste, a young winemaker, agricultural engineer and oenologist specialising in the production of sweet wines. The vineyard covers 8 hectares, 5 of which are dedicated to the production of Sauternes from vines over 70 years old and 3 to the production of red Bordeaux.
We seek to produce wines that are refined, very fruity and endowed with a graceful acidity that will shine as an aperitif.
