Château de Mongenan to Portets
Languages spoken
A delightful folly from the Louis XV period, the Château de Mongenan, with its furniture, collections and gardens, is a listed Historic Monument. In eight rooms, it houses a complete 18th-century museum featuring furniture, costumes, portraits, earthenware, porcelain, painted canvases, herbariums and dolls. A Masonic Temple dating from 1736 is home to one of France’s largest collections of ritual objects and documents.
Every Sunday at 5pm, there are talks and events to shed light on different aspects of this exceptional heritage.
