Village de Cours-les-Bains to Cours-les-bains
Cours was renamed Cours-les-Bains by presidential decree on 07 March 1887. This change is linked to the spa, which was very popular at the time.
The highest point in the Gironde department is located in the commune at “Samazeuilh”, at 166 metres. The commune has a number of uneven stretches that are a delight for hikers and mountain bikers on the signposted footpaths.
