Lac de la Prade to Bazas
Set among the rolling hills, the immense reservoir of Lac de la Prade offers enthusiasts an area of tranquillity ideal for birdwatching. A large colony of grey herons – has taken up residence here, alongside pairs of great crested grebes. With a little luck and patience, you can admire the fishing technique of the osprey. This haven of peace also serves as a stopover for many species of duck. A footpath leads to an observatory where wild birds can be easily approached.
