Two concerts in one, bringing together two distinct artistic temperaments: the stylistic mastery of the string quartet and the earthy passion that drives an internationally renowned pianist. For the first time in Bazas, an evening dedicated to piano quintets; the programme features four of the finest: those by Antonín Dvořák, Dmitri Shostakovich, Louis Vierne and Robert Schumann!

The Girard Quartet. They opened the 2025 edition of “Songes de Nuits d’Été” with a chamber version of Fauré’s Requiem at the Collégiale d’Uzeste. They are back this year with a repertoire in which each member’s talent can shine to the full.

Dana Ciocarlie. Her piano playing moves fluidly between styles and emotions, carried by humour, poetry and a profound sense of humanity.
