Mathieu Étivant and Christian Mahdjate, both members and volunteers at the media centre, are keen to share their passion for chess with you.

Kings, queens, knights and bishops take to the chessboard!

Whether you’re a complete beginner keen to learn the basic rules or an amateur player looking to refine your openings and strategies, this workshop, led by our volunteers Mathieu Étivant and Christian Mahdjate, is just for you.

Come and enjoy a friendly get-together centred on this ancient game, where concentration, logic and tactics take centre stage.
