Chess workshop to Bazas
Le 29/04/2026The Bazas breed is the pride of this region, renowned for its gastronomy. Since 1283, every Thursday before Shrove Tuesday, the town of Bazas has hosted the famous ‘Fête des Bœufs Gras’, during which the finest specimens of the Bazas breed are showcased. Adorned with ribbons and floral crowns, the oxen parade through the town’s streets to the sound of fifes and drums, before being judged by experts.
