Concert by Emmanuel Commenges to Bazas

Le 13/11/2026

Emmanuel Commenges is an extraordinary artist.

He performs in a range of genres, from song to improvised music, jazz and performance art.

Presented as a series of singles, these ‘Pièces Détachées’ are released at a rate of one per month over the course of a year. In this work in progress, Emmanuel Commenges takes us step by step with his warm, distinctive voice.

His songwriting offers an intimate insight, a sense of light-heartedness with a touch of the absurd, and is always rich in imagery and sound. His aim is to tap into emotions with even greater confidence.

He composes, plays, records and mixes most of the album himself, as the creative process unfolds.

Thus, the sounds of the instruments (piano, Rhodes, organ, saxophone, bass, drums, guitar) blend and complement one another, with the occasional electronic sound making an appearance.

Suitable for all audiences.
