Concert by Fiuminale, a Corsican duo to Langon

With over forty years on stage and more than 2,000 concerts performed in France and abroad, Maxime Merlandi and Jean-Philippe Guissani now embody the very essence of Corsican song. Their duo, Fiuminale, builds on a rich career, notably marked by their time with the Barbara Furtuna Quartet, a major ensemble that helped to promote Corsican polyphony on the international stage.

Throughout their careers, the two artists have collaborated with L’Arpeggiata, Plácido Domingo, Roberto Alagna, Constantinople, Bélem and Zadeja, and have performed in over thirty countries, on prestigious stages such as Carnegie Hall in New York, the Konzerthaus in Berlin and the Salle Pleyel in Paris.

On stage, Fiuminale offers a powerful yet intimate vocal performance in which two voices rise, respond to one another and come together.
