Le 17/10/2026The HOwlin’ Blues Trio is a ‘roots’ blues band from Bordeaux. The diverse musical influences of the three members give the trio a certain uniqueness: a skilful blend of blues, rockabilly, boogie, a few unexpected twists, country and a hint of jazz. The solid rhythm provided by the double bass, often played with the slap technique, makes you forget the deliberate absence of drums. The piano creates a lively, boogie-inspired musical world, whilst the ‘Mississippi saxophone’… well, it does all the rest! Three long-standing friends brought together by the devil’s music. Breath, strings and guts.
