Conference – The Ciron, the river of southern Gironde to Bazas

An invitation to immerse yourself in the history of the Ciron region through maps, with commentary by archaeologist Jacques Pons. The eight maps of the Ciron, Brion and Beuve river basins illustrate land use in these areas from ancient times to the end of the 19th century.

While the chronological vector is constant, the maps show the main developments in these basins, including villages, churches, castles and mills, as well as hydronyms and toponyms.

Suitable for all ages, from 7 years old.
