Exhibition – Clouds forming by SLEM to Bazas

SLEM (Stéphane Levacher) develops a pictorial practice centred on the sky, the horizon and clouds, recurring elements that form the heart of his artistic universe.

He explores clouds not as a simple pictorial effect, but as a sensitive and inner experience.

Each canvas becomes a space for contemplation, where a tension plays out between beauty and fragility, between poetic balance and the vulnerability of living things.

For him, the cloud is never just a motif: it is a metaphor for the instability of the contemporary world and a vehicle for reflection on our relationship with nature, on the ecological imbalances it has created, as well as on the beauty, poetry and reverie it can inspire.
