Join a two-hour guided tour of the fortified walls of the medieval village of Saint-Macaire – a chance to discover the town’s rich history through the narration of our tour guide.
Discover the architectural treasures of the merchants’ houses, the market square, the ramparts, the fortified gates and the Church of Saint-Sauveur with its 14th-century murals depicting, amongst other things, the Apocalypse, theAnnunciation, Saint James the Greater and Saint Catherine.
This tour is not suitable for pushchairs or wheelchairs. Please wear comfortable shoes.
Please meet at the Saint-Macaire Tourist Office 15 minutes before the tour departs.
