Soirée La Passem ! avec Lous Caps Nègues to Bazas

La PASSEM ! is a race held every two years across the region of Gascony (Béarn, Bigorre, Cominges, Gers, Lot & Garonne, Gironde, Landes, Bas-Adour) and aims to raise funds which are then donated to projects working to preserve and promote the lenga nosta* (our language).

During the race, a baton symbolising the lenga nosta* is passed from hand to hand every kilometre.

It contains a message kept secret until the finish.

As usual, the Gascon group from the municipal media library, led by Alban Garros,

kicks things off at 6.30 pm with a presentation of the year’s work and research

then at 7.30 pm, it’s time for the Caps Negues!

Hailing from Bazas and the Bazadais region, “Lous Caps Nègues” is a Gascon musical group comprising eight musicians and singers who celebrate culture, traditions and conviviality.
