Les Nuits Atypiques – Mélina Vlachos: a Franco-Greek vocal nugget

6.30pm – Artists’ words with Mélina Vlachos

7.15pm – Apéro-tapas with DJ Wiwinyl Session. Adept at “artistic turntablism” DJ Wiwinyl will ambience us, at home, with a vintage vinyl set specialising in world music.

8:30pm – Concert by Mélina Vlachos. The promising young Mélina Vlachos draws on her dual Franco-Greek culture to write and compose melodies that she sings, plays on the oud and dances to, accompanied by bass and oriental percussion. With a sublime voice, on the edge of a highly ornamented song, she draws us into her world mixing traditional influences and more contemporary melodies, towards the exploration of paths marked by Balkan, oriental and pop imprints.

10pm – End the evening with a new session from DJ Wiwinyl!
