Master-classe de grand orgue avec Marc Chiron to Sauternes

Marc Chiron began his musical studies in Cholet, before continuing them at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Paris, where he was awarded three first prizes.
He has performed in numerous cathedrals across France (Notre-Dame de Paris, Chartres, Bordeaux, etc.) and throughout Europe, and regularly performs Poulenc’s Concerto with the Orchestre National du Capitole de Toulouse.
A finalist in the 2000 Chartres Competition, he has won several first prizes. He is currently the principal organist of the main organ at Montauban Cathedral and co-principal organist at Auch Cathedral.
Prerequisites:
Experience playing the main organ with pedalboard, enabling the performance of Cycle II-level pieces.
Objectives:
To deepen one’s technique and interpretation of the grand organ repertoire.
To work under the guidance of an expert on the instrument.
Venue: Bazas Cathedral and Langon Church.
