Nuit des musées to Bazas

For one special evening, visitors will be able to enjoy a different approach to visiting the Bazas Municipal Museum, at night and through various activities that make for a fun and enriching visit.

Night-time visit to the museum followed by the show “A night at the museum: works narrated, works performed!” with the participation of the musical ensemble of the Ravel Academy of St-Jean de Luz.

Dates

5pm – 8.30pm: Continuous opening of the municipal museum with its 2020 temporary exhibition
“Childhood: growing up from the Renaissance to the baby boom” (on loan from the Gironde Departmental Archives)
on display for four months.
6 p.m.: Conference on the Bazadais region’s designation as a “Land of Art and History” by heritage facilitator Quentin Massias (conference room).
8.30pm: Tour: “Bazas, an open-air museum…” Walk with theatrical sketches, music,
history…
10pm: Violin concerto in the hospital chapel (Villa Bohème)
10.30pm: Drinks reception (town of Bazas) in the hospital courtyard lit by candles.
