The time has come for our starlit gathering!
On the evening of Saturday 22 August, from 4 pm, a special event will take place in the heart of Villandraut Castle, combining an evening of stargazing with a theatrical exploration of bats.
With the ABERA association and the Allumés de Bazas theatre troupe.
4.00 pm – Solar observation workshop
6.00 pm – Theatre: The Bat Constellation
9.00 pm – Talk: The Sky over Villandraut: 700 Years Under the Stars
Step back in time to the early 14th century and discover the sky as it appeared to the builders of Villandraut Castle. This talk invites you on a journey combining history, astronomy and major scientific discoveries.
10.00 pm – Exploring the night sky
