In the heart of the Sauternes vineyards, the Gîte au Fil d’Or de Sauternes is a fully renovated former farmhouse. It is located halfway between the vineyards and the forest along the Ciron River. There are many leisure activities available nearby, such as kayaking, tree climbing, hiking and mountain biking. Close to Langon, it has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay (shops, bowling, cinemas, etc.). The beautiful city of Bordeaux is only a 40-minute drive away, or 30 minutes by train.

You can immerse yourself in the history of southern Gironde by exploring fortified bastides such as Cadillac, Saint Macaire, or Bazas and its cathedral. Beautiful châteaux are also just a few minutes away, such as Roquetaillade, Cazeneuve, and Cadillac.
