Refuge municipal pour pèlerins de Bazas to Bazas
From the very beginnings of the pilgrimage to Compostela, Bazas, located 60 km south-east of Bordeaux, has been an important stopover for all those taking the Vézelay route.
An emblematic monument, the Cathedral of Saint-Jean-Baptiste is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site as part of the Pilgrim’s Way to Santiago de Compostela.
This itinerant gîte welcomes pilgrims for one night on presentation of their credential. Four beds are available, with bathroom and kitchen facilities.
